They say that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and we’ll extend that to Herkimer diamonds! These earrings are great for any time of year and can accessorize any outfit. They are made with 3 linked small gunmetal rings adorned with three Herkimer diamonds that dangle at the bottom. They are approx. 5-7 mm point to point. The earrings measure approximately 2″ from the bottom of the gunmetal ear wires.
Herkimer diamond is the name for a double-terminated quartz crystal discovered within exposed outcrops of dolostone in and around Herkimer County, New York and the Mohawk River Valley.
Herkimer Diamonds are the most powerful of all Quartz crystals. Being doubly terminated, they have the ability to not only transmit their own energies, but to receive spiritual energy and to amplify and focus it intently.
